We started Retail Core Consulting because we'd seen too many good businesses let down by poor implementations.
Inventory planning software has the potential to transform how retailers buy, stock, and grow. But most businesses never get close to that potential — not because the tools aren't capable, but because they're set up wrong, handed over without proper training, and left to drift.
We exist to close that gap. We're a specialist consultancy focused entirely on inventory and demand planning — helping retailers choose the right software, implement it properly, and keep it working as their business evolves.
Who We Are
Retail Core Consulting was founded by practitioners who spent years on the inside of retail and supply chain — working with planning teams, running implementations, and watching businesses struggle with the same problems over and over.
We know what good inventory planning looks like in practice. We know the shortcuts that cause problems six months later. And we know how to configure a system so that buyers and planners actually trust it — and use it.
We work exclusively in inventory and demand planning. It's a narrow focus, and deliberately so. Deep specialisation means better outcomes for our clients — and it means you're never working with a generalist consultant reading the manual for the first time.
